    there are really 5 schedules.
    Schedule 1 – High Tendency for abuse. Not available w/ a prescription. Ex. Herion
    Schedule 2 – Also High tendency. Maybe available w/ a prescription. Ex. Morphine
    Schedule 3 – Less potential for abuse or addiction. Maybe available w/ a prescription. Ex. Hydrocodone.
    Schedule 4 – Low potential for abuse. Avaliable w/ prescription Ex. Xanax
    Schedule 5 – Lower chance of addistion. Generally do not require a prescription. Ex Cough suppressants, Motrin.
