Does anyone really know how to get rid of cellulite? The answer to this question would remove a problem so many women and some men face for the better part of of their adult lives.

Cellulite is troubling for many people, especially for women. With nearly 90 percent suffering from it to some degree, cellulite on the legs, especially, is one area of frustration and embarrassment for many.

Even though surgery is often thought to be the only way to remove cellulite, it’s usually not needed or even advisable. Rather, a healthy diet and exercise plan can help to reduce cellulite in the thighs, as well as in other areas of the body.

Luckily, the best part is you don’t need to spend a lot of money on cellulite reduction procedures. You can say no to liposuction and any other drastic measure you might be thinking about. While some widely available treatments will work when you first use them, you typically will need to continue using them for lasting results.

Fat Burning Activites Combined With Eating Right Can Help Reduce Cellulite

Nearly any fat burning tactic can help you improve your condition including walking, biking and tennis. Strength training is also recommended to build muscle firmness and smooth out the skin’s appearance. But, for those with joint issues or previous injuries a more creative approach to exercising the legs may be necessary.

If think you’re out of shape or have problems with your joints, water activities might be the safest alternative for you – and they can help get rid of that cellulite on your legs. Here’s an example of a possible workout:

Aqua walking – it’s tough on cellulite and easy on you and your joints. It’s less likely you’ll injure yourself with exercises in the water when compared with normal workouts. Begin by moving into the water about waist high and then start walking as briskly as you can. Keep your arms bent at your side and pumping as if you were walking though the neighborhood.

Try to perform this workout 2 or 3 times each week and once it gets easy, progress into deeper water. You might also want to add water weights to get an upper body workout for an added challenge.

For those who love the water and want to understand how to get rid of cellulite, this exercise plan is a great place to start. And because it’s fun, you’ll be more likely to stick with it until you see results too!
